As promised, here are the pictures of the waterfall I passed on the way to the village of Besiko (missed that post? Read about my visit with the Ngobe-Bugle).

This was about 10-12 miles from the main road that leads from David to Boca Chica. It’s a very cool waterfall, maybe 100 feet tall with some nice cascades and that big ledge overhang. You won’t find it mentioned in the guidebooks, it just happens to be on the side of the road. You could practically drive right into it, which makes it even cooler. It was stunning to see the waterfall sitting at the end of the road there. I highly recommend the short detour next time you are on your way to the island, especially in rainy season when the falls are in full force.
