  • The Island Interns’ Video Premiere: The Opportunity of a Lifetime

In their video series, The Adventures of the Island Interns, Ben and Luke will take you on a journey from the Panamanian mainland to the emerald isles in the glittering Gulf of Chiriqui. Any preconceived notions of Panama as merely “the isthmus” or “the Canal” will quickly melt away as the Island Interns reveal the vibrant local cultures of Panama’s indigenous people, the eclectic culinary scene at Panama’s world-class restaurants, the breathtaking beauty of Isla Palenque’s pristine beaches and the astounding biodiversity of the lush Panamanian jungle.

    Watch the premiere:

Last year, Ben Brown and Luke Hansen became the double winners of our first-ever Isla Palenque Island Intern Contest. It was impossible to choose between Ben, with his tremendous energy and contagious passion for exploring the world, and Luke, with his serious cinematography skills and mindful approach to travel. So we had to invite them both to spend the summer of a lifetime in Panama — and we’re so glad that we did.
