Did you read our January construction progress report by Amble Resorts’ president Ben? If so, you’ll know that things are moving full-speed ahead on Isla Palenque. There’s no better time to come see the island – we’ve got a busy schedule of Site Expeditions this spring, and I am thrilled that all visitors will get a front-row seat to our premier eco-development as its revolutionary sustainable design comes to life! We’d love to welcome you to Isla Palenque for a visit – here’s what to expect on your island tour:
We encourage prospective home buyers to share the experience of a Site Expedition with their children, friends, and travel companions – because a visit to Isla Palenque isn’t your typical resort property sales tour. We invite you to experience all that the island has to offer, from taking in breathtaking natural wonders on a guided jungle walk to relaxing with an afternoon al fresco lunch and beverage service on our gorgeous Playa Palenque; you’ll soon discover what ‘island life’ on Isla Palenque means to you.
Your adventure begins at the port of Pedregal near David, or at our neighboring fishing village of Boca Chica, where we’ll pick you up and take you on a short boat ride (with views of intricate mangrove channels and hopefully some dolphin-spotting along the way) to the island. Shortly after your arrival on Isla Palenque, you’ll set off on a walking tour of our oceanfront home sites to “try on” the unique ocean views and style of living at each of our home types while immersing in the gorgeous flora and fauna of our Pacific island gem. Then, we’ll scoop you up in an off-road vehicle for a ride through the heart of the jungle – keep your eyes to the canopy for spectacular birdwatching and howler monkey photo-ops!
Be sure to work up an appetite, because you’ll arrive just in time to sample the catch of the day and an ice-cold Panamanian beer or coconut cocktail on our beach pavilion. You can relax on one of our 12 beaches for the afternoon, or grab some beach toys and play with the kids in our protected coves among the gentle waves bathing the shores of Playa Palenque.
